Cyber-volunteering

You can help the Green Party from the comfort of your own home,
without leaving your desktop. This page gathers together some of things
you can do online as a Green Party Cyber-Volunteer. Please email webmaster@greens.org.nz if you have any other ideas.

Spread the Word

Tell your friends, workmates and online contacts about the Green
Party website, not just once, but whenever something new and
interesting is added. Post messages on blogs, forums, mailing lists,
newsgroups and anywhere else where people gather online.

The key is to keep your posts relevant to the discussion, responding to arguments with URLs. You can search the Green Party website
to find documents to refer to. Keep your posts short and to the point.
It is good to copy and paste short statements from the document you are
referring to.

Remember to give the full URL starting with http:// this will mean
that people's software will automatically convert it to a clickable
link, which makes it much more likely that people will visit the page.
To avoid time and prevent typing errors, the best thing to do is to
copy and paste the URL directly from your Web browser's
location/address box.

Head over to our forum and blog to see how these types of web discussion work.

Help with the Green Party website

There are a lot of things wrong with this website that we need to
fix. The most important things are testing all the pages and looking
for out of date information or font errors (e.g. too small font size,
inconsistent font faces). Please email webmaster@greens.org.nz if you find anything - it helps to copy and paste the URL of the page directly from your Web browser's location/address box.

Display a Green Party web advert

Download a Green Party Web advert and post it on your website - the more links to our site, the higher our traffic.
